This article features disgusting stereotypes of trans women. We want jobs, not fashion or hair tips. We need employment protections. We don’t have even the bare minimum for legal rights in most places, no matter what you think of our “socialization”.

We need access to women’s spaces because men rape us as often or more often than cis women. You created those spaces to be safe from the men who have terrorized you your whole life and can’t even see the pain inflicted on your trans sisters? We don’t do ask for this stuff to “affirm our womanhood”, we ask for these things because we have been trodden on our whole lives and we are desperate.
